I began acting and singing a little over a year ago and after getting my first lead role as a new actor, it was recommended that I find a vocal coach if I wanted to strengthen my opportunity to grow in this industry.

I searched over and over, testing voice coach after voice coach until I came across Alexys’ website. I had no idea that the moment I stepped into his studio, for my first lesson, that it would start a chain of events and milestone growth that would give me the skills in such a short time to obtain lead roles in my next 4 auditions. In one or two lessons I learned more about the voice, about MY VOICE, than I had in all my lessons with my other failed teachers. Alexys helped me to identify and isolate my technical issues immediately, and we began the process of ‘undoing’ so that I could achieve what I always knew I could vocally, but what I could not consistently reproduce.

Although it was difficult work at first, what I have gained in ease and beauty of overall vocal production, ‘power’ without ‘push’ in my belt and high belt and increase in legit range as well, is something I feel I now “own”, thanks to Alexys’ teachings and passion about his work. His knowledge and resources with regard to alternative health choices and vocal health have also been tremendously helpful. I can’t say enough about how Alexys has helped me claim my power, as well as my voice. This has been a dream come true for someone like myself and I am so very grateful that Alexys can share and continue to be part of this amazing future that I am heading for.
